This piece is one which is very close to my heart as it resembles 'Whitepoint', the beach nearest to my home where I grew up in Cobh, Co. Cork. I remember jumping off the old pier at high tide and going for a swim in the summer evenings... There are lots of colours going through the water, lilac/lavender shades that change to a soft blue in different light...just as the water does at different times of the day..
